Now Open for Call, Click & Collect
We're delighted to announce that we're able to welcome personal callers back to our small retail area at the front of our warehouse
However, due to the compact nature of our retail sales floor making social distancing very difficult (even at the revised one metre rule). Our prime concern is to keep our customers & staff safe from Covid-19, so for the foreseeable future we'll only be able to offer the service below.
Browse: This will have to be done on line at www.fat-skeleton.co.uk. We've over 2000 items in our range for you to select from. Until further notice there is no facility to browse & select your items in store.
Call: Give us a ring on 0115 9635837 between 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Get advice on the product(s) you are interested in and pay by card. We can then advise what day (same day may be available) you'll be able to travel over to collect your item, and most importantly, try on other sizes if necessary, to ensure you get a correct fit.
Collect: The collection part of the transaction will be carried out whilst observing strict social distancing & hygiene regulations, you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser we provide before trying on any product. We will provide a disposable balacalava for you to try on helmets.
We can only allow ONE customer in at a time, so if you travel down with a mate they'll have to wait outside while we sort your order.
At present we can arrange for you to collect on most days, weekends included. Orders can only be placed between Monday & Friday.
PLEASE DO NOT call in if you haven't previously ordered your product over the phone & agreed a collection time & day.
So why aren't we opening the shop as normal?
It's all down to space, it's simply NOT possible to adhere to even the one metre rule in such a compact area. By using the Call & Collect system you can at least now come & try on your purchase at a date & time to suit yourself, and not have to wait in for the postman or delivery courier.
Like everyone, we can't wait to get back to a normal, more sociable way of life, but in the meantime please note that government guidelines mean we won't be able to offer you refreshments or access to a toilet (sorry)
