Sturgis 24 Fat Skeleton Prescription Rider Eyewear-Clear to Dark
Having to use standard prescription glasses when riding?
Check out this ingenious solution which has helped 1000's of UK motorcyclists enjoy their riding even more!
Simply take the padded insert into your local optician along with your prescription...the completed insert then clips neatly behind the lenses frame and you've got your correct vision.
The lenses are SHATTERPROOF photochromic items that react to light. They're clear indoors & at night but darken like sunglasses in sunlight. So you only need one pair of glasses for all conditions.
Includes interchangeable goggles strap & hard case
We've sold 1000's of these so if you have any technical questions, please call us on 0115 963 5837 Office Hours

Footnote: The lenses darken when they are exposed to UV400 light - most modern cars have a UV400 filter built into them - they will NOT darken if you use them in your car or behind a clear helmet visor with a UV filter
Ally Tennick Just done a 400 mile trip over the weekend with the prescription version of these. Love them!
Steve Mclennan Got them with the prescription lens insert, blind welder🤓😁, absolutely faultless, look cool, yellow lens like someone switched the lights on at night really does cut out glare from headlights, quick transition from. £150 to get my prescription lenses.
I got these hoping they would help with blast that gets around my usual glasses and makes my eyes water at motorway speeds.
Took them to Specsavers and they glazed the inserts for me, no bother. Cost £69.99 for single vision lenses.
Got them back and fitted them into the frame, i have to say, it's a fiddly job and i was worried about breaking the insert at one point.
The frames are ok, they feel a bit "cheap" in my opinion, and the foam insert does not fit snuggly into the frame - there's quite a gap at the outer edges.
This being said, they are extremely comfortable and quite light on my face wearing them.
They do not darken up much, but that may change in brighter conditions, so will reserve judgement on that.
The case is good, the optional strap included is a good idea, and you get a spare foam insert and cleaning cloth.
Overall, i think they're a good option - even if it does look like you have milk bottle lenses with the inserts in, but, i would have liked a bit more quality feel from them.
Bought a pair of these & got them glazed with no issues whatsoever. Absolutely brilliant, they've made riding a pleasure again!
Quite simply the best glasses I've EVER had for biking!!
Just had eye test at Specsavers and got the lenses for the rider sunglasses no problem on the two for one offer. Great product, great service. I read some reviews saying that Specsavers didn't do it for them but I had no problem at all. I'll certainly be using Fat Skeleton again
Brilliant product, does exactly what its supposed to!
My local Specsavers fitted bifocal lenses and they work a treat.
