Sturgis 24 Fat Skeleton Prescription Rider Eyewear-Clear to Dark

Need to ride wearing glasses? Why risk damaging your standard prescription glasses when riding?

Check out this ingenious solution which has helped 1000's of UK motorcyclists enjoy their riding even more!

Simply take the padded insert into your local optician along with your prescription...the completed insert then clips neatly behind the lenses frame and you've got your correct vision.

The lenses are SHATTERPROOF photochromic items that react to light. They're clear indoors & at night but darken like sunglasses in sunlight. So you only need one pair of glasses for all conditions.

Includes interchangeable goggles strap & hard case

We've sold 1000's of these so if you have any technical questions, please call us on 0115 963 5837 Office Hours

Footnote: The lenses darken when they are exposed to UV400 light - most modern cars have a UV400 filter built into them - they will NOT darken if you use them in your car or behind a clear helmet visor with a UV filter

Getting Your Prescription Lenses Fitted Update: January 2024.

Some customers have left feedback, particularly with regards to Specsavers (and some other independent opticians) , saying the branch they visited couldn't fit their prescription lenses to the insert.

What the branch means is they DON'T WANT to take the job on, as one optician we know said "it's probably not going to make enough money for them, or more than likely it's out of their comfort zone as they haven't fitted inserts before (even though it's very simple & straightforward)

Check out these emails received from customers who managed to get them fitted, & another who found an independent optician who highly rated the design after 2 big chains weren't interested in glazing them!

"Really good glasses. Boots and Specsavers had no interest in providing prescription. Just down the road on Cornwall Street I found a super independent optician who loved the design and had them ready in two days (Iconic Opticians)"

"Just had eyetest at Specsavers and got the lenses for the rider sunglasses no problem. Great product, great service. I read some reviews saying that Specsavers didn't do it for them but I had no problem at all. I'll certainly be using Fat Skeleton again!"

Ally Tennick Just done a 400 mile trip over the weekend with the prescription version of these. Love them!

Steve Mclennan Got them with the prescription lens insert, blind welder🤓😁, absolutely faultless, look cool, yellow lens like someone switched the lights on at night really does cut out glare from headlights, quick transition from. £150 to get my prescription lenses.

After many hours of research..

Stumbled across these while trawling the internet looking for frames for my helmet.

Took the plunge and just received my lenses back from Specsavers - Bodmin. Took their sweet time doing them but received them back today - amazing! £100 for my prescription and level 1 thinning.

There is a slight ‘goldfish’ effect in the peripheral, I guess due to the shape of the lenses. Bit weird when you first put them on but soon get used to it, completely disappears once you’re on the bike and concentrating on what’s ahead.

Would recommend these to anyone wanting a decent set of glasses for their helmet

Looked like a good bit of kit

Looked like a good bit of kit. Unfortunately, they were way too small for my face. Had to return them for a refund. I just wish they did different sizes. Not sure how long the refund takes but I’ll certainly be back for more stuff at some point.

Great glasses seeking lenses in Plymouth
