Reactalite Eyewear
As a motorcycle tour guide I ride over 25,000 miles each year in a wide range of weather and riding conditions. I can find myself riding in freezing conditions above the Artic Circle in Alaska or Norway, or in the searing heat of Death Valley and the Mojave Desert. Because of this, it is important that my riding gear is both durable and versatile.
My riding gear gets a lot of abuse and over the years I have refined what I wear by eliminating what doesn't work well, and what won't stand up to constant hard wear.
Top priority for riding is good eye protection and one of my favourite bits of kit is my pair of Fat Skeleton reactalite riding glasses. These glasses are very comfortable under my helmet, unlike many others I have tried which press into the side of my head. They are a close fit and the foam padding creates a good seal around my eyes to keep the wind and small insects out.
Most importantly, the lenses are reactalite, which means I can wear the one pair of glasses in any riding conditions. When it is dull or raining the lenses become almost clear, but in bright conditions they darken and are as good as any other sun glasses I have worn. Also, very important for me, I can read my sat nav and instrument panel clearly, even when the lenses are dark.
Thank you Fat Skeleton for yet another excellent bit of riding kit!
